Dream Dental Sedation is the only Watertown oral surgeon in the area offering all dental services under IV sedation, including surgical extractions and removal of impacted wisdom teeth. Get the dental care you deserve in comfort, while you sleep.
Many dentists advertise themselves as “sedation dentists” but are not providing true sedation. In many cases, they are simply using oral sedatives (pills) in a way they weren’t intended to be used.
Dream Dental Sedation is a true sedation dentist that provides IV deep sedation that surpasses the level of comfort and safety that any other type of office-based sedation provides. The level of sedation is customized to each patient’s needs to guarantee a comfortable, pain-free experience with no memory of the surgery, something that laughing gas, oral sedatives or moderate IV sedation cannot reliably do.
We've been safely providing this to our patients for several years. Patients describe IV sedation at our office as a “go to sleep and wake up when it’s done” option. Eliminate your anxiety by experiencing no pain or memory of the appointment.
Dream Dental Sedation has received IV sedation, anesthetist certification, and advanced surgical training to offer a safe and affordable alternative to an oral surgeon. All anesthesia services in our office are performed by our CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist).
By using CRNA-provided anesthesia, we are able to provide a deeper level of IV sedation close to unconsciousness while patients are monitored by a medical provider. Our approach of separating the anesthesia and surgery ensures the highest level of safety and patient comfort possible.
Dream Dental Sedation is proud to be a specialist at Watertown wisdom teeth removal using IV deep sedation. Every patient experiences a blissful, anxiety-free visit with IV sedation by falling sleep and awaking after the procedure is completed. Most don’t even remember the car ride home!
Count on our reliable in-office sedation dentistry team for a highly relaxed state free from any pain or discomfort during wisdom tooth removal. We are happy to walk you through the ins and outs of surgery before, during, and after your treatment.
We have seen countless patients neglect their dental health out of fear from previous bad experiences, like not getting numb or a strong gag reflex, that have caused a severe dental phobia preventing them from seeking the care they need. Anxious patients often come to us when neglect of a simple dental problem has gotten out of hand, worsening to a pain level that prevents them from functioning normally on a daily basis.
Anxiety over “getting numb” is also not something our patients need to worry about. While Local anesthetic is used to numb the surgical sites and reduce post-op surgical discomfort, this is done AFTER the patient is asleep. The only “pinch” you might remember is the IV being started- that’s it.
There’s no reason to let dental anxiety prevent you from getting the care you deserve—consider IV deep sedation for stress-free dental appointments!
IV sedation can help you overcome fears, anxieties, an inability to get numb or a strong gag reflex when it comes to getting the dental care you need. Sleep through the entire procedure!
Prior to using IV sedation, Dr. Palmquist will meet with you for a pre-op appointment to discuss your health history and to perform a simple physical. If he determines you are a good candidate* and it is safe to sedate you, then you will be scheduled for your appointment with IV sedation.
*Patients who are not good candidates for IV sedation include those with sleep apnea, COPD, uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled blood pressure, or other conditions that could put the patient at risk for adverse reactions to IV sedation.
